People are still talking about the recent WWE TLC PPV.

WWE announced on last Friday that due to medical concerns Roman Reigns had been removed from the scheduled 3-on-5 TLC match between The Shield and the team of The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, and Kane at the TLC PPV (pay-per-view) event at the Target Center in Minnesota, Minneapolis on the WWE Network.

Reigns was replaced by WWE Hall of Famer and Raw General Manager Kurt Angle. Also, Bray Wyatt was also been replaced by AJ Styles, who faced Finn Balor.

It’s been reported that WWE was testing Raw Superstars for the mumps. WWE had apparently originally tested some talent for viral meningitis and discovered that the illness is believed to be the mumps.

Keep in WWE creative team learned about Reigns and Wyatt not being able to wrestle late in the week and came up with a plethora of replacement options.

In an update, Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer newsletter that although a lot people thought WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar would replace Reigns at the event due to him attending college in Minneapolis, he was never contacted by the sports entertainment company.

In regards to who could’ve replaced Wyatt at the event, WWE did contact Chris Jericho for taking Wyatt’s spot to face Balor. However, Jericho was not available to work the event due to him being on tour with his rock band Fozzy.

Here are the quick results from the event:

Singles Match: Asuka defeats Emma (9:25)

Tag Team Match: Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann defeat Gentleman Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick (8:00)

WWE RAW Women's Title Match: Alexa Bliss (c) defeats Mickie James (11:25)
