Amir Khan and Kell Brook were at it again earlier this week.Boxing fans mocked Khan after he called out Floyd Mayweather on Twitter, claiming he would cause the undefeated American problems with his speed, movement and accuracy if they ever went head-to-head inside the ring.Brook joined in the mickey-taking by sending a cheeky tweet to his fellow Briton.“@amirkingkhan if you wanna play kiss-chase with retired men shame, really,” Brook tweeted. “get in with me n I’ll fast track ya into collecting your pension 👀“

Brook’s tweet soon went viral, with many people pointing out this fight - Brook v Khan, not Mayweather v Khan - should have happened years ago.

Khan claims he's still keen on Brook fight

Khan recently said that he would still ‘love’ to fight Brook but believes both himself and the Sheffield-born boxer need to a couple of wins under their belt to increase interest in the bout.

"For me and Kell Brook at the moment, I think the fight could be bigger if we both get a couple of wins," Khan told Sky Sports. "If we get a couple of wins, I think it will be a massive fight. It will be a big fight now, but it will be a massive fight if we wait maybe another fight.

"One hundred per cent, I would love that fight."

Johnny Nelson rips into Amir Khan

However, Khan’s latest comments about a potential fight with Brook haven’t gone down well with Johnny Nelson.

The former professional, now famous for his work on Sky Sports, had some blunt words for the 30-year-old in an interview with iFL TV.

“He says some stupid things sometimes and I’m thinking ‘did you actually say that?’” Nelson commented. “He said Kell needs a couple more fights and then it’s big business. How many ‘couple more fights’ is he saying?

“So before he was world champion he said he needs to be world champion, he became world champion he needs a couple more fights. He lost - like *he* lost - he needs a couple more fights to make it big business.

“Amir, if you don’t want to fight Kell, don’t. Say it’s not going to happen, I’m not interested. Don’t just give it lip-service because when you say these things, people see right through it and think ‘come on, do yourself a favour man.’ It’s stupidness. If you ain’t going to do it, stop trying to fool people because nobody’s buying it.

“I’m a fan of Amir’s style, I’m a fan of the success he’s had, I like the commitment he’s taken where he’s gone to America and done what most fighters won’t do but when you talk *s**t* like that - it’s s**t, it is s**t, he’s just talking s**t…

“It doesn’t mean I’m saying Kell wins but I’m just saying stop talking s**t - that’s all.”

Woah.
