Dele Alli is one of Europe's most promising young talents.

The Tottenham star burst onto the scene in 2015 as a 19-year-old and hasn't looked back since.

He's become a key part of a Spurs side that has been challenging at the top of the Premier League over the last couple of seasons.

Now 21, he's been tipped to get even better as he comes into the prime of his career.

Pairing with club teammate Harry Kane, fans see the two as England's most promising partnership in recent memory.

With the World Cup around the corner, Alli can become an even bigger superstar, but there's one thing that's currently concerning his club boss, Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine has claimed that if his midfielder doesn't have the right people around him now, his future could be at risk.

He made the claim in Guillem Balague's new book, Brave New World, that reveals all that happened at Tottenham last season.

Writing about Alli, Pochettino said, per the Daily Mail: "The danger remains, as is often the case, that he will forget what has got him to this point.

"I have had to repeat to him this season (2016-17). The other risk is whether those around him know how to treat a top-level professional."

And it's not just those around Alli that are concerning Pochettino. The Spurs boss has revealed that the Englishman's personal WhatsApp photo is also worrying him.

"His WhatsApp photo of a cartoon of a boy surrounded by people who all want a piece of him suggests that he needs to be surrounded by the right people," he said.

"I often think about that WhatsApp photo. John McDermott (Spurs academy manager) says that when the trough is full, the pigs come from all over to feed."

At such a young age, there's a chance someone may turn Alli's head and take him in the wrong direction.

But with a manager like Pochettino looking out for him, there's a higher chance the English prodigy will fulfill his top potential and become one of the best in the world one day.
