Bucks (4-2) 117; Hawks (1-6) 106

Giannis Antetokounmpo (33/11/5) continued his epic start to the season, shooting 14-for-21 from the field in a dominant performance. Khris Middleton (27/7/9) turned in his best performance of the season for the Bucks, going 9-of-19 from the field while stuffing the stat sheet. Dennis Schroder (21/2/8) led the Hawks in scoring in the loss while rookie John Collins (14/7/0) continued his consistent production in 25 minutes off the bench. Milwaukee shot 54.3 percent from the field and won the rebounding battle 43-to-31 in the victory.

Pacers (3-3) 97; Spurs (4-2) 94

Despite another solid individual performance from Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge (26/8/0), the Pacers hung on for a narrow victory. Domantas Sabonis (22/12/2) was literally perfect from the field, going 9-for-9, while Victor Oladipo (23/4/5) led the home team in scoring. Although San Antonio forced 19 turnovers and had eight blocks in the contest, they went just 9-of-28 from three-point range and generally failed to capitalize on the offensive end.

Nuggets (3-3) 124; Nets (3-4) 111

Denver pulled away in the third quarter when they outscored Brooklyn 40-to-21. All five Nuggets starters were sensational, as Jamal Murray (26/1/5), Nikola Jokic (21/14/4), Wilson Chandler (18/5/1), Paul Millsap (13/11/5) and Gary Harris (14/1/3) all scored in double-figures and shot efficiently. Spencer Dinwiddie (22/4/4) led the Nets in both points scored and minutes played (30), but Brooklyn struggled to make the most of their opportunities at the charity stripe, shooting just 21-of-31 overall. Denver turned the ball over just six times, compared to 15 by the Nets.

Hornets (3-3) 120; Magic (4-2) 113

The trio of Kemba Walker (34/10/2), Dwight Howard (22/10/3) and Jeremy Lamb (20/6/7) accounted for 76 points on 33-of-53 shooting (62.3 percent). Howard recorded yet another double-double in what has been a resurgent campaign so far. Jonathon Simmons (27/4/3) surprisingly led Orlando in the scoring column while Evan Fournier (23/3/5) continued his consistent and productive start to the year. Starting point guard D.J. Augustin (0/0/5) went 0-for-7 shooting and failed to score in 23 minutes on the court for the Magic, who also lost the rebounding battle 59-to-40.

Wizards (4-2) 110; Kings (1-5) 83

Washington got out to a quick 35-16 lead after the first quarter and led 63-32 at halftime. No Wizard played 30 minutes and John Wall (19/2/9) made the most of his 26 minutes on the floor during his abbreviated run due to the blowout. Similarly, no King played 30 minutes. Washington made a ridiculous 17-of-34 three-point shots while Sacramento went 6-of-22 from deep. The Kings also turned the ball over 17 times and had just 13 assists on the night.

Knicks (2-3) 114; Cavaliers (3-4) 95

In perhaps the shock of the day, Tim Hardaway Jr. (34/4/8) and Kristaps Porzingis (32/12/0) led the rebuilding Knicks past LeBron James (16/10/7), Kevin Love (22/11/1) and the Cavaliers. Cleveland has lost four of their last five games. Most surprisingly, New York was in control for most of the game, at one point holding a 21-point lead. The Knicks won the rebounding battle 51-to-41, the assist battle 27-to-20 and shot 47.2 percent, compared to just 38.3 percent by Cleveland.

Pistons (4-2) 115; Warriors (4-2) 107

The Pistons and Warriors now have identical records, as Detroit’s starters surprisingly outscored Golden State’s starters 94-to-88. Despite shooting 57.1 percent from the field and having solid performances from Klay Thompson (29/2/0), Kevin Durant (28/6/4) and Stephen Curry (27/6/8), the Warriors committed 25 turnovers in a very sloppy effort. On the other hand, Detroit had just 13 and shot a perfect 17-for-17 at the charity stripe. The Pistons backcourt of Reggie Jackson (22/3/5) and Avery Bradley (23/1/2) combined for 55 points on 16-for-25 shooting.
