Braun Strowman in 2017 has been one of the most over characters in the entire WWE. To begin with, it was just because he was going up against Roman Reigns, who most people booed, but as the year went on, that perception changed.
When The Monster Among Men started to receive more of the spotlight following WrestleMania 33, WWE fans started to appreciate what he could offer in the ring and outside the ring. He received his biggest pops when he flipped over an ambulance with The Big Dog inside and when he returned from injury in the back of an ambulance.
Recently, he teamed up with The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, and Kane for a 5-on-3 handicap Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match in the main event of the pay-per-view by the same name against Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose.
However, at the event, The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, and Kane turned on Strowman, with The Devil's Favourite Demon doing the most damage by causing chairs hanging from the ceiling to collapse on him, as well as being thrown into the back of a garbage truck.
Many fans saw this as WWE's way of turning The Monster Among Men face, but he is yet to appear on RAW to confirm this turn. A recent Instagram post might confirm though that a face turn is on the horizon.
On his personal account, Strowman posted a picture of himself with some kids with the caption: "I get asked a lot what my favorite thing is about being a #wwe #superstar This right here is my favorite thing about my job the money fame and all that is great don’t get me wrong but this this right here is what I kill myself for night after night this is worth more to me than any dollar sign.
"To see the overwhelming joy in the kids eyes that look up to me is priceless!!!! #BeSomeonesHero #MonsterAmongMunchkins #SmilesarePriceless #MonsterHeart #BraunStrowman"
While it's important to remember that this is his own personal account, this isn't exactly heel-type behaviour for a superstar on social media. It's also the first time Strowman has posted a picture like this onto his Instagram account about putting smiles on kids faces.
Strowman is expected to return on RAW anytime now despite the ordeal he went through at TLC, and when he does, he is expected to feud with Kane, which should complete the face turn for his character if one is to happen.
