Last night on Monday Night RAW, WWE made further announcements to their upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view, revealing the team captain for RAW in the men's traditional interbrand 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match against SmackDown Live.

Upon returning to RAW for the first time since before WrestleMania 33, RAW commissioner Stephanie McMahon announced that because of his lack of control last week when Shane McMahon and SmackDown superstars took the show under siege, Kurt Angle will be the captain of Team RAW at the pay-per-view.

Stephanie added a further stipulation for The Olympic Hero, saying that if Team RAW were to lose at Survivor Series, Angle would be fired as the RAW General Manager.

Following the events of Monday night, only two names have been revealed for the men's traditional interbrand 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match; Angle and Team SmackDown's captain Randy Orton.

More names are expected to be revealed over the next few weeks in the build-up to the pay-per-view, however, according to YouTube account HeelByNature, a graphic has been made for the men's Survivor Series elimination match, showing a number of superstars.

HeelByNature states that Shane McMahon will actually be the team captain of SmackDown by Survivor Series, with AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, and Bobby Roode as his teammates.

As for Team RAW, Kurt Angle will remain as the captain, with Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, and Finn Balor as his teammates.

Of course, this has to be taken with a pinch of salt as WWE is yet to confirm the teams for the event, but it certainly does look like an interesting line up if the speculation is true.

The superstar with the biggest question mark next to his name on both teams is Roman Reigns, as he hasn't been seen on WWE television since before the TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view due to medical issues. He wasn't cleared to appear on RAW last night either.

If he is not cleared in time for the pay-per-view, then obviously, someone else is going to have to take his place on Team RAW. However, Survivor Series doesn't take place until November 19, so he has plenty of time to get healthy in order to be cleared for the event.
