It is thought that the QPR winger has spoken to Arsenal’s Academy Director, Liam Brady, and is expected to favour a move to the Emirates Stadium as a result of their prestigious youth development system.
Sterling is still waiting to make his senior debut for QPR after missing the chance to beat the record as the Football League's youngest ever player set by Reuben Noble-Lazarus.
QPR managed to keep hold of Sterling in the January transfer window but it is expected that the player will move to a Premier League club in the summer.
Manchester City and Liverpool have also been linked with the youngster in the past, who has represented England at a handful of junior levels.
