Sometimes in wrestling, even the fans find out first-hand that it's not totally smoke and mirrors. On SmackDown Live this past Tuesday Kevin Owens and Shinsuke Nakamura were battling it out for a place on the Blue brand's five-man team to face Raw's five-man team at Survivor Series in just under three weeks.Shane McMahon has already announced himself as the captain of the team while Randy Orton, Bobby Roode and the winner of Owens and Nakamura - which (spoiler) turned out to be the latter - would leave only one spot remaining. That spot will be contested by AJ Styles and Rusev on next week's episode of SD Live.Sami Zayn lost his qualifying match against Orton on last week's episode of SmackDown and he came to ringside during Owens' contest with Nakamura to try and help his best friend.Late in the match, KO told Zayn to strip the table in preparation for Nakamura's demise. What happened next is one of the rarest things in wrestling. As you can see from the video below, Zayn takes the table cover off the hardwood and proceeds to angry through it away. However, the cover took an unpredictable bounce and proceeded to fly at a fan in the crowd:

It's actually pretty hilarious to watch. Especially because the fan is looking the other way and truly doesn't see it coming. Sorry, anonymous fan!

As mentioned earlier, Owens lost the encounter after a distraction from Orton - who ended up using the table to attack Zayn - and now the power couple of heels are on the outside of Survivor Series looking in.

Tentative reports suggest that Owens and Zayn will cost SD Live the main event and aid Raw to victory - not that the Red brand will need their help.

With Kurt Angle confirmed as Raw's captain and the Olympic Hero's first pick being Braun Strowman, they're off to a great start. When you think they can pick from the likes of Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, Kane, Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt for the rest of their team, it's going to be an uphill battle for SmackDown Live.
