Some changes to the Monday Night Raw roster may be inbound.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Baltimore, MD at the Royal Farms Arena on the USA Network, there was a backstage

Monday Night RAW this week featured a backstage segment between Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Raw General Manager and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.

Bliss was trying to get Angle to ‘cut the dead weight’ from the roster in regards to Mickie James. Angle ended up making Bliss defend her Raw Women’s Championship against James later in the show, which saw Bliss retain.

There was an interesting tease from the conversation between Bliss and Angle to say the least. There is speculation that has surfaced online that it appears to be a hint that we could be seeing some new female talent coming soon to Monday Night Raw.

If you really think about it, this would make sense, considering that WWE just released Emma and Summer Rae from their contracts. Maybe this was to make room for some new talent on their way up to the main roster. Here is what the two superstars had to say on the show:

Alexa Bliss: “I suggest we improve the quality of the Women’s division. Cut some of the dead weight like Mickie James. We could easily replace her with anyone from the Mae Young Classic”

Kurt Angle: “I like the idea of bringing in new talent, but not at the expense of Mickie James”

Bliss already has her next match on WWE PPV (pay-per-view) lined up as she is set to take on SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya in a non-title match at Survivor Series, which is slated to take place on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets.

Both Raw and SmackDown brands will be featured. Here is the updated card:

--- Non-Title Match: Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal

--- Non-Title Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Natalya

--- Non-Title Match: Baron Corbin vs. The Miz

--- Non-Title Tag Team Match: Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs. The Usos
