There's no doubt that The Shield are one of the greatest factions in WWE history.
D-Generation-X, Evolution, The Four Horsemen and the NWO are just some of the most famous stables professional wrestling has ever seen.
But, The Shield were different to anyone else. They had a pack mentality. They were the most cohesive unit ever seen. And, more than that, they were successful.
Seth Rollins. Dean Ambrose. Roman Reigns. All three men have gone on to be world champions and their reunion is the biggest thing in the WWE today.
However, after Roman Reigns was struck down with a viral infection, Kurt Angle was forced to step into the breach at the Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view.
That means we still haven't seen the old trio reunited in an actual match yet, but the anticipation for the original trident grows stronger every week.
However, with the WWE's European tour, it appears as though the guest members of The Shield are set to continue.
And it had it's unlikeliest member possible when the WWE rolled into Glasgow, Scotland - Triple H.
As you can see from the video above, HHH joins Rollins and Ambrose in performing The Hounds of Justice's signature fist bump in an awesome moment.
Now, you have to ignore for a second that Triple H hasn't been seen on WWE TV since Seth Rollins defeated him, and caused his wife, Stephanie McMahon, to go through a table at WrestleMania 33.
Storyline wise, it literally makes zero sense. But, at WWE live events, that is often the case to be fair. Months before Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn united as heels on SD Live, they helped each other as faces at a live event.
Triple H was also seen twerking with The New Day in Chile a few weeks ago before landing a patented pedigree on Kofi Kingston.
It's highly unlikely this will lead to anything on television, but Triple H did tweet out his thanks to The Shield.
The lack of storyline continuity may annoy some fans, but we encourage you to just enjoy the moment!
