Triple H is very active in recruiting new talent to the WWE, and he may have been doing exactly that in the UK earlier today when he shocked an indie promotion with his appearance.

"The Game" is one of the greatest success stories in the history of professional wrestling. Having started training back in 1992, Hunter signed with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1994. After a year with the promotion, he then signed with WWE in 1995 where he began a truly historic career.

Right off the bat Triple H made an impact by capturing the Intercontinental Championship and aligning himself with D-Generation X. He soon was propelled into the main event scene when he began feuding with Vince McMahon and developed an on-screen relationship with his daughter.

Of course all wrestling fans know that he Hunter did, in fact, marry Stephanie McMahon as they became rather close while working together on screen. Inside the ring Triple H solidified himself as one of the greatest superstars of all time by winning several championships.

To this day "The Game's" resume has him winning three Tag Team Championships, 14 World Championships, five Intercontinental Titles, two European Championships, a 1997 King Of The Ring tournament win, and two Royal Rumble match wins in 2002 and 2016.

Now Triple H's in-ring career has slowed down as he no longer is a full time performer. He instead serves as the COO of the promotion and is the leading man over on NXT where the stars of WWE's tomorrow are being developed.

Earlier today (Sun. November 5, 2017) Triple H and WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne recently made an appearance at an Insane Championship Wrestling show and had this to say (quotes via SESCoops):

“This is where our business starts,” Triple H said. “Every single night in a place like this, with guys like this, and a group like ICW. That’s where it goes, ICW, PROGRESS, places like that, that’s where you see this stuff grow. That’s where you see it start. That’s where you see it boil up.”
