Kenny Omega is the biggest professional wrestler outside of the WWE, and he just fired off a ton of shots at the entire roster.

Omega has been in the professional wrestling industry since 2001 when he began doing work for Premier Championship Wrestling (PCW). He would remain there for four years before actually landing a deal with WWE. He was sent to their developmental territory known as Deep South Wrestling (DSW) but decided to leave after about a year.

In 2006 he made his return to PCW, where he still wrestles today, and began doing work for other promotions such as Pro Wrestling Syndicate (PWS), Jersey All Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor (ROH), Dramatic Dream Team/DDT Pro-Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and of course New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

Omega currently holds the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship, as he is the inaugural champion of the title's history. He is also a member of the famed Bullet Club that has seen members such as AJ Styles and Finn Balor serve as previous leaders before departing to WWE.

Many believe that Omega could soon take the same path, and he's going to get his first taste of a WWE-esk work experience when he takes on Chris Jericho at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in Tokyo this January.

Jericho and Omega have been feuding on Twitter for the past several weeks, with many believing it to be legit, it turns out it was simply a work to promote their match. A press conference was recently held to promote the event, and Omega used the platform to take a huge shot at the entire WWE roster (quotes via IWNerd):

“WWE, in general — you can quote me on this I don’t care — everyone there is so below me. No one can put together a performance like me from there.

"Anyone that’s copying anyone is copying me. I’m the trend right now.”

What are your thoughts on Omega saying that everyone in WWE is beneath him? Do you think that this could be a work and that Omega is actually nearing an agreement to sign with WWE? Or is he truly firing off shots at every Superstar in the biggest professional wrestling promotion in the world? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
