Tyson Fury appears to be deadly serious about his return to boxing this time. The 29-year-old, who hasn’t fought since defeating Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf two years ago, has his sights set on a mega-money bout against Anthony Joshua in 2018.Last week, Fury thanked the British Boxing Board of Control for giving him the ‘green light’ to return to the sport and then immediately took to Twitter to call out Joshua.Joshua remains undefeated after his victory over Carlos Takam on October 28 but Fury is convinced he would have no problem seeing off his fellow Brit.He even tweeted Joshua saying that he would win the fight “inside eight rounds”. A bold prediction there, Tyson.

Hearn: AJ says he'll 'eat' Fury

Although we’ve yet to hear from Joshua himself, promoter Eddie Hearn revealed how the 28-year-old reacted to Fury’s succession of tweets.

"I shouldn't really tell you the reply,” Hearn told Sky Sports, “but it was 'I'll eat him,' and the size difference is huge. It's two-and-a-half stone now between those two."

Fury seems to want a reaction from Joshua himself

Fury was active on Twitter again on Monday evening.

The Manchester-born fighter retweeted a flurry of posts from his fans who can’t wait to see him back in the ring.

But he also tried to spark a reaction from Joshua again.

First of all, he said that Deontay Wilder would beat Joshua if they fight next year.

Fury mocks Joshua on Twitter

And then he mocked his compatriot with the following tweet…

“@anthonyfjoshua works for me!” Fury tweeted. “No it's true I employed a while ago as a belt carrier, pay him to hold & polish my belts. He dose a good job👏“

What is Fury playing at?

He seems desperate for Joshua to react to his tweets.
