Tyson Fury has shown his support for Deontay Wilder as the American looks to face heavyweight Anthony Joshua next year.

Fury, who also wants to take on Joshua in 2018, took to Twitter on Monday evening to claim Wilder will have no problem taking the IBF, WBA (Super) and IBO belts from AJ.

“If @BronzeBomber fights @anthonyfjoshua Wilder KOs him! Fight me first AJ I'll break u in,” Fury tweeted.

This comes days after Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, revealed that Joshua text him to say he would “eat” Wilder.

With Wilder calling Joshua out following his win over Bermane Stiverne on Saturday night, it would appear that both are eager to set up a mammoth heavyweight clash next year.

Fury and Wilder spoke about fighting Joshua

Quite where that leaves Fury, who is on the comeback following anti-doping and medical issues, is unclear.

The 29-year-old was involved in a phone call with Wilder on Monday evening that also featured Hearn.

And on that phone call, with ThaBoxingVoice, Fury and Wilder detailed their plans to both beat Joshua next year, with the American getting the first opportunity to take on the 2012 Olympic champion.

“We both want him, I want him, the world wants him,” Wilder said to Fury. “I’m gonna take him out and then I’m gonna throw him to you in the UK and you’re gonna finish him off.

“You had the opportunity that I didn’t get the opportunity to have and that was with Klitschko so you got him first, so let me take Joshua first, and then I’ll slide him to you.”

Fury: 'You take him out in style'

Fury responded: “Listen, if you get the deal done, you do it. You take him out in style. Get him done, no problem and then you fight the Gypsy King in the fight of all fights, the Achilles and Hector fight, that’s what it is.

“From what I’ve seen on Saturday night from you, excellent performance. Way to put an angle right round the guy and work the right hook over the top.

“Excellent, excellent boxing and I just see someone in Joshua who lifts a lot of weight, who stands flat-footed, who’ll put him hands up round his head and take some big bombs and he’ll end up on the floor in the same way.”

Wonder what Joshua thinks about his two biggest rivals teaming up to take him down.
