It seems as though two top stars over on SmackDown Live could be under some heat, as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been reportedly sent home early from WWE's tour of the UK.

Owens has been in the professional wrestling industry since the year 2000. He signed with International Wrestling Syndicate in 2003 before going on to do work for various other promotions such as Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), and Ring of Honor (ROH) where he really made himself known to the professional wrestling world.

He then signed with WWE in 2014 and signed with WWE's developmental territory of NXT. Owens quickly became NXT Champion and made his main roster debut by challenging then-United States Champion John Cena. Owens would go on to defeat "The Leader Of The Cenation" at Elimination Chamber in a non-title match.

Since then Owens has gone on to have quite the career; racking up a Universal Championship run, two Intercontinental Title wins, and three United States Title wins. He has also had great rivalries with the likes of Chris Jericho, AJ Styles, and John Cena.

One of Owens closest friends is none other than former NXT Champion Sami Zayn. After making his debut on the main roster in 2016, Zayn and Owens have had a rocky on-screen relationship due to the fact that "KO" betrayed him in NXT.

The pair have since reunited after Zayn turned heel by saving Owens from getting an elbow dropped on him from the top of the Hell In A Cell onto an announce table from SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon.

Since then the duo have been allies on WWE TV, and the real-life best friends are able to work together on television. They may have gone a bit too far on SmackDown Live last night, however, as it seems that they've been sent home from WWE's ongoing UK tour.

According to report by PWInsider.com, the sports entertainment company has sent the pair home to the United States.  As of this writing, there are conflicting stories as to why this has happened floating around but nothing has been confirmed.

Sports Illustrated is reporting that Vince McMahon okayed this move after the pair were "going into business for themselves" during their on-air time on SmackDown Live.
