Anthony Joshua, it seems, may have finally cracked.

The 28-year-old, who retained his world heavyweight titles by defeating Carlos Takam by TKO last month, insisted in an interview with iFL TV earlier this week that he no interest in responded to digs from various boxers on social media.

Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury have both aimed tweets at Joshua over the past couple of weeks, seemingly desperate to get some sort of reaction out of British boxing’s main man.

“At the moment, it’s just talk,” Joshua said of Fury’s tweets.” I’m not into the business of talking. All these guys doing their negotiations over social media, I’m not into that.”

However, less than 24 hours after the interview was uploaded to YouTube and Joshua has dramatically changed his tune.

AJ sent tweets to Parker and Wilder

He sent tweets to Joseph Parker and Wilder, informing his 1.64 million followers that he’s still waiting for offers.

And then destroyed Fury

And then he sent a surprisingly savage tweet to Fury.

He tweeted: “& @Tyson_Fury get fit you fat f***”

Needless to say, Joshua’s uncharacteristically brutal tweet has gone viral.

Within 30 minutes of being posted, the tweet had already been retweeted over 8,000 times and ‘liked’ over 13,000 times.

Twitter reacts to AJ's tweet

Let’s take a look at some of the replies…

Joshua continued his Twitter rampage

iFL TV co-founder Kugan Cassius then joked that the world was finally seeing the ‘real’ Anthony Joshua.

And he replied with yet another savage tweet.

“The real anthony joshua? Because of what ?.... a swear word? Shut the f*** up.”

You just wouldn’t expect this from AJ.

Has he been hacked? Is *this* the real Joshua?

Who knows, but whatever the answer, people are loving his new persona on Twitter.
