Since WWE's TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view, numerous superstars have been taking Roman Reigns' spot in The Shield in their matches since The Big Dog has been out of ring action due to medical issues.

At TLC, Raw general manager Kurt Angle took the spot of Reigns during the show's 5-on-3 handicap Tables, Ladders, and Chairs main event against The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman, and Kane.

In the first week of WWE's European tour at live events, Triple H surprisingly took The Big Dog's spot and teamed up with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. During the WWE's second week of their European tour, a third superstar has teamed up with The Hounds of Justice, and he's just as a surprising selection as The Game.

On Wednesday's WWE live event in Dortmund, Germany,  Cesaro & Sheamus defeated and successfully defended their Raw Tag Team Championships against The Shield (Ambrose & Rollins) and The New Day. After the match, The Shield did their triple powerbomb with a surprising third member.

After the match had finished, Samoa Joe of all people teamed up with Seth and Dean to finish The New Day's Xavier Woods with a triple powerbomb. As you can see in the clip below, the fans enjoyed the funny moment of The Lunatic Fringe teaching The Destroyer how to do it as The Bar and Finn Balor watched on as well.

This spot may annoy some WWE fans just as much as it did when Triple H joined The Shield, as Rollins was attacked by Joe during his debut on the main roster earlier this year and they haven't exactly had an on-screen truce since this moment.

The triple powerbomb was a great spot and a fantastic gift for the fans in Germany, especially the funny moment of Ambrose teaching Joe how to do it, so the minor intricacies that are out of place during this segment should be avoided.

Moving forward, The Shield, with Reigns, are expected to face The New Day at Survivor Series, while Joe will be part of Team Raw against Team SmackDown in the traditional interbrand 5-on-5 elimination match.
