After four years away from the sport, Georges St-Pierre's return to UFC was always going to be a big occasion for the promotion, but odds have already been released for his two possible next big fights.

Rush made his UFC return at UFC 217 last Saturday when he took on Michael Bisping in the main event of the pay-per-view at Madison Square Garden in New York City for the UFC Middleweight Championship.

GSP successfully won the fight against The Count with a rear-naked choke submission in the third round of the contest to become the new UFC Middleweight Champion. Bookmakers have already predicted what the outcome of his first title defense would be.

According to the oddsmakers over at Bovada, via MMA Mania, St-Pierre is the heavy favorite to defeat Robert Whittaker, the current interim Middleweight Champion, if the two men have a unification match sometime in 2018. They made GSP the odds favorite at 5/8, while Whittaker was only given odds of 13/10.

As well as this, the bookies have predicted that Rush would come out on top if he ever found himself face-to-face against Conor McGregor inside the Octagon. St-Pierre is the heavy favorite to win this super fight at 2/3 odds, while Notorious was only given 6/5 odds by the bookies.

If a GSP vs McGregor fight is going to happen, we may have to possibly wait over a year for it to happen, as some pieces need to fall into place for them to meet inside the Octagon.

For St-Pierre, he is expected to drop the Middleweight title at some point in order to compete in the Welterweight division once more, where he will most likely face the UFC Welterweight Champion, whether that be Tyron Woodley or another fighter completely.

As for McGregor, he will most likely take part in two fights before meeting Rush inside the Octagon. First, he will likely have a unification fight against Tony Ferguson for a chance to become the undisputed UFC Lightweight Champion.

After this fight, Notorious is then expected to complete his trilogy fight against Nate Diaz, as UFC could generate big money from having this fight take place to detemine who truly is the better fighter out of the two as the current score between them is 1-1 after two fights.

If both fighters are able to win their contests, the stars would be aligned for them to meet inside the Octagon in a super fight that would determine who truly is the greatest UFC fighter of all time.
