By now, everyone is aware that WWE sent Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens home on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017.

There have been various reports as the reasons that the decision was made including Sports Illustrated reporting that they were sent home "for conduct deemed detrimental to the WWE."

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Zayn and Owens didn't follow directions given to them during their segment with the New Day on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Manchester, England at the Manchester Arena on the USA Network they were supposed to "feed" New Day after Zayn vs. Kingston.

Original plans called for Owens and Zayn to continue attacking New Day after the match then retreating. WWE wanted it to get a bigger reaction for The New Day.

Owens did jump in the ring after Kofi won the match, but Zayn and Owens quickly exited the ring afterwards, which just left New Day standing there, making for an awkward ending to the segment.

It’s also been reported that the two Superstars have become "increasingly difficult to work with" and have been "unhappy backstage." Several WWE fans have reacted to the news by taking to Twitter and they are not happy.

Keep in mind that WWE is still advertising Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. The New Day in a tag team match for next week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Charlotte, NC at the Spectrum Center. WWE sent out the following to hype the match:

“A huge tag team battle has been set for next Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE, as The New Day will take on Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn.

The fast-escalating rivalry between the two factions started in the United Kingdom when Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods were basking in their successful raid of Monday Night Raw with SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon, only for Owens & Zayn to hit the scene and ruin the fun. To settle the score, McMahon made a singles match between Kingston and Zayn, which The Dreadlocked Dynamo won. After the bell, KO pounced on Kingston and pummeled him until Woods and Big E ran him off.

What will happen when these two teams collide? Find out next Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE at 8/7 C on USA Network!”
