The current beef between British fighters Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is certainly an entertaining spectacle.

The rivalry between the two took its most interesting turn on Thursday when the latter finally snapped and took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the Gypsy King.

Joshua tweeted to Fury: "Get fit you fat f**k."

Brutal and it was probably well deserved, given the fact that Fury has been berating him non-stop over the past few weeks.

The whole world was waiting for him to respond to Joshua and in the afternoon they got it, courtesy of an Instagram video in which he said he would still beat him I a fight despite currently weighing around 25 stone.

What a spectacle it would be to see a big, unfit Fury taking on the muscly Joshua. The fight should happen at some point in the future, but probably not for a while as a bout against Deontay Wilder is already being arranged for 2018.

FURY TAKES A SECOND SWIPE AT AJ

However, as most predicted, Fury simply could not leave his altercation with Joshua alone and late Thursday evening, he simply had to have another go.

Again, it was by Instagram video, with the 29-year-old former heavyweight champion saying he is ready to go.

Brilliant stuff.

Fury's potential comeback is reliant on his ability to regain his boxing licence in the near future.

Should he make a return to the four-cornered ring, it would be one of the most significant moments in British boxing and would set up some truly unbelievable bouts.

FURY SLAMS JOSHUA'S TAKAM PERFORMANCE

The Gypsy King was very critical of AJ's performance in his last bout, which saw him win by TKO in the 10th round.

Kubrat Pulev pulled out of the initial fight and the Brit struggled against a different opponent in Cardiff.

"After looking at the fight on the weekend with AJ and Takam [Joshua's last opponent], AJ struggled with, let's face it, a glorified midget," Fury told IFL TV.

"No disrespect to midgets, because I happen to like midgets and I've sh****d a couple. But he was a glorified midget in the heavyweight division."

Who doesn't love a bit of trash talk?
