It came as no surprise to anyone when Tyson Fury issued a response to Anthony Joshua after being called a “fat f***” by British boxing’s golden boy earlier this week.Fury has spent weeks antagonising Joshua on social media and via the press. It seemed as if he was desperate for his compatriot to bite. But when Joshua did eventually snap on Thursday morning, Fury reacted by posting an angry video message on Instagram."This is a message to the weight-lifter, big Anthony Joshua - the tough man. Who told me to get fit?" Fury said, clearly irritated by Joshua’s tweet. "To be honest with you, I don't need to get fit to fight somebody like you, at all."I'll come to you and I'll punch your face in for you. Even at 25 stone. So I really don't need to get fit for you, put it that way.""I've seen what you're about," he added. "Useless - no gas, no stamina, too many weights. You want to practise on a bit more speed and less power."Joshua hasn’t said anything more about Fury since his tweet, although he did reveal in an interview with iFL TV earlier in the week that he does want to fight the Manchester-born boxer.

Fury just posted a bizarre tweet about Joshua

Fury, however, still seems rattled by Joshua’s tweet, which has been retweeted over 64,000 times since it was posted.

The 29-year-old took to Twitter again on Saturday morning and posted a bizarre tweet explaining the apparent difference between himself and Joshua.

“This is me & AJ in dogs,” Fury wrote, “first AJ is the American bully, them me the Pit bull terrier, show dog real dog. Muscle vs speed & agility.”

Fury is being mocked for the tweet

You can probably imagine how boxing fans on Twitter have responded.

Look away now, Tyson…

Yep, poor old Fury was asking for this.

Fury insists he's losing weight

However, if you believe the former world heavyweight champion, it won’t be much longer before he’s in tip-top condition again.

Following Joshua’s jibe about his weight, Fury posted on social media: "Morning fight fans. I've had another good sesh in the gym, you will be pleased to hear that I've shed another 9lbs, the weight is melting off.

"For all those people who said I couldn't lose the weight and fight again this must be sad for taste."
