So it looks as though Anthony Joshua’s next opponent will be Deontay Wilder.Eddie Hearn confirmed as much earlier this week."Deontay Wilder is doing a great job of convincing people that AJ is running from this fight,” Hearn told Sky Sports News. “Our job to deliver but it doesn’t happen overnight. This first meeting today may go well, it may go terribly, but fans need to know we want the fight. It will happen in 2018 unquestionably."Of course, if Joshua does face Wilder, someone’s 0 has got to go.Joshua holds a 20-0 record, while Wilder boasts an equally perfect 39-0.Therefore, the fight is quite difficult to predict considering neither of them have ever lost. However, one man that is in a good position to predict the outcome is Dillian Whyte.Whyte has been making noises in the heavyweight division with a 22-1 record. His only defeat came against Joshua back in December 2015 and he’s hoping for either a rematch with the Brit or a clash against Wilder. But when asked about Joshua’s potential battle with Wilder, Whyte is in no doubt over who will be victorious.

Whyte predicts Joshua v Wilder

“Joshua will knock him out,” Wilder said convincingly whilst on Soccer AM.

Whyte highlights the problem with Wilder

And Whyte went on to highlight a major problem with Joshua’s next opponent.

“He [Wilder] can’t box,” Whyte added.

“He can punch, but he can’t box.”

Yeah, that’s a bit of a problem.

When you’re coming up against the IBF, WBA and IBO world heavyweight champion, you’re going need to be able to do more than just punch to beat him.

We’ll have to wait until next year to discover whether Whyte’s prediction will come true, though.
