There are several "dream matches" that WWE fans would love to see go down at WrestleMania, and one of those matches is AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura.

Styles is one of the most prolific performers in the history of the professional wrestling industry. He has been in the business since 1998 and has worked for nearly every major promotion in the sport's history such as World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Ring Of Honor (ROH), IMPACT Wrestling (also known as Global Force Wrestling or TNA), New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), and of course WWE.

During his time with IMPACT, Styles made a great argument for being the greatest in-ring performer of his generation. He generated so much demand that he began doing work for promotions outside of IMPACT such as ROH, NJPW, and many more.

While working in Japan he starred as one of the country's favorites opposite one former Japanese mixed martial artist - Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura had worked in NJPW his entire career since beginning his training back in 2002.

After making a huge name for himself in his native Japan he made the jump to WWE and was singed to their developmental program in NXT back in 2016. Nakamura won the NXT Championship before getting called up to the main roster where he currently resides on SmackDown Live.

Both Nakamura and Styles have competed against one another before in NJPW and put on some amazing matches, but they have yet to do so inside a WWE ring. WWE is currently finishing up their European tour, and during their recent live event in Florence, Italy fans began calling for a WrestleMania match between the two.

Styles played to the crowd by laying down his WWE Championship between the two, getting on the mic, and admitting that a WrestleMania match between he and Nakamura would be "Too Sweet":

What are your thoughts on WWE teasing a WrestleMania match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura? Do you think that this is a route WWE could take with the WWE Title heading into "The Show Of Shows?" Or was this simply a fun little tease from Styles and Nakamura to get the fans hyped up? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
