Now that former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey's mixed martial arts (MMA) career seems to have ended, rumors continue to run rampant that she will make a career switch over to WWE - and she continues to feed those rumors.

Rousey was once considered the baddest woman on the planet as she held an undefeated fighting record of 12-0, in addition to seven successful title defenses and winning all her fights via stoppage. After suffering back-to-back knockout losses to superior strikers, however, her time inside the cage seems to be finished.

"The Rowdy One" has longtime been associated with the world of professional wrestling, making multiple appearances on WWE programming and earning her MMA nickname from WWE Hall Of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper who gave her permission to use the name.

While in MMA competition Rousey and three of her closest friends, also MMA fighters, dubbed themselves The Four Horsewomen of MMA. The stable was a play off of the legendary Four Horsemen from World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in the 80s.

A Four Horsewomen Of WWE has now been formed as well with Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch who earned their claim to fame after being brought up from NXT for the Women's Revolution.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE currently has a Four Horsewomen Of MMA vs. Four Horsewomen Of WWE match scheduled for next year's WrestleMania, which would be Ronda Rousey's in-ring debut for professional wrestling.

Since her last MMA fight Rousey has made several appearances for WWE at the Mae Young Classic, and recently made another appearance at an NXT live event last night. Rousey interacted with fans and hung out with some of the NXT talent during the show.

NXT star and Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane Tweeted out a thanks to Rousey for meeting her, and fans captured some photos from her appearance as well:

What are your thoughts on Rousey's recent appearance at WWE NXT? How do you see a potential WWE run for Rousey going if she dedicates herself to the job full time? And are you excited to see a Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen match at WrestleMania next year? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
