If you can remember over a year ago; before the likes of Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Bayley, American Alpha, and so many more were even on the main roster, "The Demon King" had a rather embarrassing moment against "The Destroyer" inside the ring.

During their main event bout for the NXT Title, the camera crew caught a shot of Balor's rear end in which his tights looked to have dark stains on them. Many fans speculated that he may have in fact pooped himself while being hit with the Muscle Buster by Samoa Joe. Balor recently got the opportunity to address these rumors in a recent interview with Ringside Collectables.

While appearing at Ringside Fest 2017, Balor revealed that his favorite attire was the multi-color design he wore at NXT TakeOver: Dallas when he fought Samoa Joe. He admitted that he initially believed the design to look stupid but later warmed up to it once he saw it on his action figure.

It was then that Balor recalled the longstanding embarrassing poop rumor that has been hanging over him for a little over a year - and explained what really happened (quotes via Wrestling Inc.):

"I want to tell everyone, there was a rumor that went around that I pooped my pants in that match," he explained, "but it was actually the sweat on the baby blue trunks...

"So when Joe picked me up for the Muscle Buster and faced the hard cam, my butt was facing directly at the hard cam and everyone goes, 'Oh my God, Finn's pooped his pants!'

"But it was just sweat, and maybe a little bit of Joe's blood because I busted him open that day, too."

So it turns out it was just a little sweat and blood wrestling fans. Nothing to get too crazy about.

What are your thoughts on Balor denying that he actually pooped himself inside the ring against Samoa Joe back in NXT? And how do you feel about the way Balor is currently being used on WWE TV right now? Do you think that WWE is missing out by holding him out of the Universal Title picture for the time being? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
