Notts County will have Sean Canham available for the visit of Grimsby to Meadow Lane.

The striker was cup-tied for the 4-0 FA Cup defeat by Fulham on Sunday which saw the Magpies exit the competition at the fifth round stage following an impressive run.

Dave Kevan, who will now remain in his role as caretaker manager until the end of the season, may choose to revert back to his usual 4-4-2 formation after using a different approach against the Cottagers. That could mean Karl Hawley is restored to the starting line-up at the expense of Jamie Clapham.

The two sides have already met once this month with Lee Hughes scoring the only goal of the game at Blundell Park.

Grimsby boss Neil Woods will make a late decision on whether to include Lee Peacock for clash.

The veteran striker recovered from an ankle injury to play 76 minutes against Bradford last weekend, but it remains to be seen if he can manage two games in five days.

Paris Cowan-Hall is again a doubt with a hamstring injury that kept him out of the game at Valley Parade, while Adrian Forbes remains a long-term casualty as he recovers from a blow he took to his previously fractured leg.

Robbie Stockdale and Nick Hegarty are both back in full training and could come into contention for places in the squad after recent injuries.
