Liverpool fans had the same message for Roy Keane

While the goals were flying into Darren Randolph’s net - and after the final whistle, too - Liverpool fans all had the same message for Ireland’s assistant manager, Roy Keane, on Twitter.

In case you're wondering

Wondering what they’re all referring to?

Well, a couple of weeks ago, Keane angered the Liverpool faithful with comments he made about Jurgen Klopp’s side following their 3-0 win over Maribor in the Champions League.

"It's hard to figure out Liverpool at the moment," the former Manchester United captain told ITV Sport. "It's hard to get excited about them. To me, they are going nowhere fast.

"They're neat and tidy, but defensively... come the end of the season when the prizes are being given out, Liverpool will be nowhere near them.

"If Liverpool were playing out in my back garden, I wouldn't watch them. They're just drifting. Drifting nowhere."

As Liverpool’s fans have proved, revenge is truly a dish best served cold.
