There was an interesting thing that happened on SmackDown Live.
Following the SmackDown roster invading Monday Night Raw and doing the "Under Siege" angle several weeks ago, many fans have wondered when Raw would respond with their own attack.
As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Charlotte, NC at the Spectrum Center on the USA Network, The Shield, Cesaro, and Sheamus as well as members of the Raw men's and women's elimination teams invaded SmackDown Live and attacked the SmackDown roster.
Members of the Raw Men’s team include Kurt Angle (Team Captain), Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and Triple H while members of the women’s team include Alicia Fox (Team Captain), Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Asuka, and Bayley.
This angle was to further build hype for the upcoming Survivor Series PPV (pay-per-view) event.
The angle happened during the main event of SmackDown Live that saw Kevin Owns team up with his best friend Sami Zayn to take on former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day.
During the big brawl, The Usos had a staredown with Reigns.
They didn't attack each other. Given that they are family (both in kayfabe and real life) it was an interesting moment, to say the least. You can see it here.
The Survivor Series pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Both Raw and SmackDown brands will be featured. Here is the updated card:
