The administrator in charge of Crystal Palace insists the club will reject any approach for manager Neil Warnock.
Speculation is growing that QPR are preparing a move to make Warnock their new boss while the 61-year-old has made no secret of his disappointment at seeing the Eagles placed into administration last month.
Brendan Guilfoyle, who is determined to resist any attempts to prise Warnock away from Selhurst Park, said: "We've not had anything officially but if we get get a phonecall I think we would decline it. He's our manager and we need him to make sure we don't end up in the relegation zone."
Guilfoyle added: "But if Neil makes the decision he wants to go then I'm in a very difficult position. I understand my appointment creates uncertainty so the sooner I can get a purchaser in to tell Neil if he figures in their plans, the better."
