On this week's episode of SmackDown Live, Ric Flair made a surprise appearance to congratulate his daughter, Charlotte Flair, on her Women's SmackDown Championship win from earlier on in the night. The Queen defeated Natalya to win the Women's SmackDown title and then stood in the middle of the ring to thank the WWE fans for their support over the past couple of months while her father was in hospital following a health scare. After announcing that her father couldn't be there tonight, Charlotte made her way back up the ramp to backstage when Ric Flair's music hit and the man himself appeared on the stage. The two then embraced each other in a truly special moment that everyone enjoyed. This was The Nature Boy's first WWE appearance since his health scare which hospitalized him over the summer. It was also his first WWE appearance since he appeared at ringside during the WWE title match between Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton at Money in the Bank earlier this year. For some fans, this won't be the last they'll see of Ric Flair this month, as yesterday, WWE announced the Hall of Famer will be appearing at the company's Starrcade show at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina a week on Saturday.

However, when WWE announced this bit of news, many fans thought the worst, especially after The Nature Boy's health scare during the summer.

Unfortunately for WWE fans, unless they're attending Starrcade, they won't be able to see Ric Flair at Starrcade, as the show isn't being broadcasted on the WWE Network.

The reason why WWE will not be broadcasting the live event is because they think the additional costs of having to broadcast the event will not improve their network subscriber count, and therefore it wouldn't be worth their while.

WWE is bound to post videos and photos of the event on their social media accounts like they have done recently with live events, so fans that don't attend the live event still won't miss the what is bound to be the awesome moment of Charlotte Flair and Ric Flair together once more.
