Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon is contemplating changes to his starting XI ahead of the visit of Notts County.

Dillon saw his side end Northampton`s 11-game unbeaten run last Friday night with an excellent 3-0 win at Sixfields only to witness a 2-0 defeat at Hereford on Tuesday night.

He admitted to being bemused by the Edgar Street setback and could hand recalls to Kirk Hudson, Louie Soares and Danny Hylton in a bid to return to the winning formula.

Defender Dean Howell is now fully fit after his hip operation last summer and could be in line for a first start since last April.

Notts County will be without leading scorer Lee Hughes due to suspension.

The 23-goal striker was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for a high challenge on Grimsby keeper Nick Colgan in the closing stages of Wednesday night`s 1-1 draw at Meadow Lane and must serve a one-match ban.

Karl Hawley and Luke Rodgers are likely to lead the line for the Magpies in Hampshire, although Ade Akinbiyi presents another option for caretaker manager Dave Kevan.

Captain John Thompson is a doubt after a thigh injury forced him off at half-time in midweek and a late decision will be made on the defender`s fitness.

Midfielder Johnnie Jackson was left out of the squad against Grimsby and has since joined Charlton on a month`s loan.
