We're only a couple of hours away now from Survivor Series, and the card which WWE has put together looks exciting with several intriguing matches.
One of the matches on the card tonight is the women's division's traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match between Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live. Team Raw will be represented by Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Asuka, Sasha Banks, and Bayley, while Team SmackDown will be represented by Becky Lynch, Carmella, Naomi, Tamina, and Natalya.
In the build-up for that match, Lana, who has been managing Tamina recently, and Nia Jax have been exchanging tweets to hype up the women's traditional Survivor Series match. This was when The Ravishing Russian delivered a brutal burn on the Raw superstar.
After Natalya was selected as Charlotte Flair's replacement in Team SmackDown, Nia reacted to the news by tweeting: "Your team does A LOT of bleeding 🙄🙄! Such a weak trait to have."
Despite not being part of the actual team, Lana felt the need to defend her brand against The Hybrid Athlete's comments. She did so by making reference to Nia's recent random absence from the WWE, saying: "Talking about weak .... Just don’t go AWOL again #SurvivorSeries #Teambleue"
This clearly hit a spot as Nia reacted by saying: "Well first of all... let’s spell “blue” correctly when you’re TRYING to throw shade. And second, make sure you have facts correct before you throw out completely FALSE accusations! And lastly, this beef is between ACTUAL competitors. So sit down & be humble."
The Ravishing Russian pointed out that she had got underneath the Raw superstar's skin by saying: "Clearly I hit to close to home for you. I thought you have a better come back since your not like most girls......"
Nia Jax replied by saying: "Haha! Are you still talking? Listen here “Dirt Sheet” Queen, I’m done helping you try to stay relevant. Go practice, maybe you’ll make the team next time 👍🏼"
WWE fans, as well as Rusev, absolutely loved Lana's burn of Nia, as The Ravishing Russian clearly won the Twitter feud
Lana is bound to be at ringside tonight for the women's traditional Survivor Series match, so hopefully, WWE capitalizes on this recent Twitter beef by having Nia attack the SmackDown superstar before Tamina likely comes in with the save.
Team Raw will likely win over Team SmackDown in this match, so this could be a good opportunity for WWE to build up Nia as strong as they can by having her eliminate most of Team SmackDown so that she is ready to challenge Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship at a later date.
