With Jose Mourinho having failed to last longer than three years in any previous managerial role, Manchester United must be fearing that his reign will soon be coming to an end.

The Portuguese boss has been at Old Trafford for 18 months and there are already reports suggesting he could leave in the not too distant future.

He has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain next summer and a move to Parc des Princes must be seriously tempting for the Special One.

And it seems United chiefs realise the temptation to earn big money at the Ligue One side and are doing everything they can to keep Mourinho at the Theatre of Dreams.

That’s because, according to Spanish outlet Sport, the board have made a massive promise to Mourinho if he stays at the club beyond this summer.

Not only will they hand him a new contract worth €22 million-per-year but they have ensured they will allow him to sign ‘three Galacticos.’

Sport write: "The response [To PSG interest in Mourinho] of the Old Trafford club will be to give the Portuguese an offer that would mean an income of 22 million euros per year along with the commitment to make at least three 'galactic' incorporations, top-level footballers who are to Mourinho's liking.”

If that’s not enough to keep him at the club, we don’t know what is.

Sport go one step further and actually namedrop two of the ‘three Galatic’ signings United are planning to make.

The suggest that Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale could be two of the arrivals. While the pair aren’t enjoying the most enjoyable time at the moment, Mourinho believes they would adapt to his United squad perfectly.

Can you imagine a squad that includes Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku, Griezmann and Bale!?

Suddenly, the prospect of managing a side that is expected to walk their league each year doesn’t seem so appealing.
