One thing everyone agreed on after the return of the Premier League is that Mohamed Salah is pretty good at football. The Liverpool winger continued his electric start to the season with a stunning brace in the 3-0 victory over Southampton. The two strikes take the Egyptian star to nine Premier League goals for the season, above the likes of Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero and Romelu Lukaku.Salah has 14 goals in all competitions as well, a tally which betters any Liverpool player from the full seasons following Luis Suarez's sale to Barcelona. He's certainly been £37m well spent. His failed stint at Chelsea has been virtually forgotten now and Jurgen Klopp's talisman is certainly drawing jealousy out of a lot of rival fans.

ONE MAN UNITED FAN MAKES A GREAT POINT

And one supporter of Jose Mourinho's side makes a great comparison between Salah and one underperforming Red Devils man; Jesse Lingard.

The statistical evidence is enough to make any United fan a tad angry.

Ouch, although hopefully he didn't actually resort to bleach.

The tweet has gone viral, earning over 3,300 likes and 2,400 retweets. Some of the analysis of his point made for some great entertainment as well.

FANS REPLY

Cant beat some Twitter rage.

Klopp was full of praise for his star man after his performance vs the Saints on Saturday, suggesting that the Egyptian is incredibly relaxed at the moment.

KLOPP ON SALAH

When asked about whether he felt the pressure of making just 19 appearances for Chelsea, he said: “I don’t think it’s like this.

“Maybe it was one reason he came back, but he’s not like ‘now I will show you the real Mo Salah’.

“He’s completely relaxed. For sure he wanted to show a little bit he’s better than that, but everyone knew it already.

“He was a kid when he came to Chelsea, and we have heard a few times that’s quite difficult, and in that time they were really successful. It was quite difficult to come through.

“A little bit less muscle, a little bit less physical, and you fly through the Premier League – not like he’s flying now – but one body check, you understand. With his body shape that’s now different.

“He’s a man now, he was a kid at Chelsea, now he’s a man. That’s good.”
