QPR striker Antonio German has signed a new contract to keep him at Loftus Road until the summer of 2012.

The 18-year-old scored on his full debut against Doncaster last weekend and is relieved to have secured his future.

He told the club's official website: "I was out of contract at the end of the season so I am just happy to get it all done."

He added: "Now I can concentrate on my football.

"It gives me a big lift because it shows that the club are keen to keep me here."
