Peterborough have signed Wolves defender Mark Little on an emergency loan deal for the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old has made 19 starts since turning professional in 2006 having come through the Premier League side's youth system.

Little told the club's website: "I am an attacking right-back, I like to get forward and I can also play at centre-back so we will see where the gaffer [Jim Gannon] wants to play me."

He added: "I can't wait to get started, I know the position the team are in the table but there are plenty of points to play for."

The move is subject to approval from the Football League, with Little expected to go straight into Posh's squad to face Coventry on Saturday should it go through.
