Shrews reveal anniversary kit plans

Shrewsbury have unveiled a new commemorative playing kit for next season to celebrate the club's 125-year anniversary.

Town, founded in 1886, are planning a series of celebrations to mark the occasion, one of which has been to revert back to the first strip the club adopted back in 1888.

The nostalgic plain blue shirt, white shorts and blue socks are very minimal in appearance while the Shropshire club are currently negotiating supplier details.

Shrews have also released season-ticket prices for 2010/11, with price increases kept to a minimum regardless of which division the club find themselves playing in.

The early bird initiative for existing season-ticket holders provides a financial incentive to renew between now and April 1, and then again at a slightly raised price before July 1 when it will move to its maximum.
