Leading scorer Calvin Zola looks certain to make his Crewe comeback when Barnet visit Gresty Road.

The 16-goal striker has been out since suffering a hamstring injury in the defeat at Rochdale on February 6.

It was hoped he would return against Lincoln last weekend but the 25-year-old opted to withdraw from the squad that travelled to Sincil Bank.

Caretaker boss Dario Gradi will decide whether Shaun Miller or Byron Moore would partner Zola in attack after admitting: "I think we are always better with Calvin up there. He gives us another option."

However, club captain Mat Mitchel-King and midfielder Steve Schumacher will not be risked, although both have resumed training following back problems.

Boss Ian Hendon could name an unchanged side for Barnet.

The Bees managed a 0-0 draw with Bury last time out and Hendon is boosted by the news that he has no new injuries to contend with.

Ismail Yakubu will miss out given he is still struggling to shake off a back injury, with the centre-back unlikely to feature for around another week.

Veteran duo Paul Furlong and Gary Breen will be fit to feature despite doubts over their participation last time out, while striker John O'Flynn (ankle) will be fine having also come through the encounter with the Shakers unscathed.

Barnet currently sit 18th in League Two and have won just twice in their last 18 league outings.
