The three huge wrestlers WWE should sign in 2018

WWE hasn't shown any signs of slowing down in recent times, as they continue to add some absolutely huge and exciting names to the ever-growing roster.

Whether it's for NXT, the women's division, RAW or SmackDown LIVE - they're always looking for the most exciting stars.

We see that continually with NXT and the huge independent names that make the switch. WWE stacked its cruiserweight roster following on from the Cruiserweight Classic while the Mae Young Classic gave us Kairi Sane and many other talented female stars.

2018 should be no different. There are always going to be names out there who continue to impress in rival promotions, whether that's in the US, over Europe or in Japan. With so much talent to keep an eye on, it's not going to come as a surprise to see WWE chase several big stars.

We've narrowed it down to three stars the WWE should aggressively pursue come the new year. Obviously, these aren't a guarantee as contracts and politics do play a part - while there are also other big stars WWE should rightfully keep an eye on.

This one looks like it's finally going to happen in 2018, especially since rumours have reignited over the past few weeks.

For the last two years or so, there have been plenty of rumours surrounding the potential arrival of Ricochet, but his antics as Prince Puma on Lucha Underground always looked the like main stumbling block as to why the move never materialised.

The move looks like it could finally happen in January, which would probably be just in time for the Royal Rumble. While that's an incredible way to make a potential debut, rumour has it that he'll be making the switch to NXT instead - which is great as he gets the chance to work on his weak point, his microphone work.

We can sit here all night and discuss just how incredible the high-flying superstar is in the ring, and it's obvious that he'll add plenty of excitement wherever he ends up in WWE.

WWE fans will be hoping this one finally gets over the line.

Matt Riddle has carved out a brilliant reputation in the professional wrestling world in such a short amount of time. It's difficult to believe that he's only been doing this for a couple of years following his UFC exit.

That is something that could appeal to Vince McMahon and the other higher-ups in the WWE - Riddle's background legitimises him as a fighter more than anyone else currently on the roster, other than Brock Lesnar, perhaps.

While he might not the best wrestler or in-ring performer available to sign, he does have an addictive, magnetic personality which is vital when it comes to succeeding in WWE.

He's in great shape, he's young at 31 years of age, he has a great look and he's a star in the making. Although he's mentioned that he's not interested in a move to WWE right now, the company should pounce before he becomes an even bigger and more sought-after star which makes their job a whole lot more difficult.

The Bro will certainly be able to create a huge fan base in WWE.

Was there really ever going to be anyone else in the top spot right now? It comes as no surprise considering many believe The Cleaner is the best wrestler on the planet today - although AJ Styles in the WWE may have something to say about that.

Around this time last year, there was plenty of buzz surrounding Omega and a move to WWE. He even went as far as teasing himself as the final entrant in the Royal Rumble. Instead, he opted to remain in New Japan.

However, with his contract coming to an end again, many are hoping that Omega does finally decide to leave Japan and the Bullet Club to finally join WWE and showcase his talents on the biggest platform in the world.

Like Ricochet, we can sing his praises all night because his superior skills have been well-documented. So, it comes as no surprise that even Triple H has openly admitted that the company is interested in Omega.

Just imagine the reaction if The Cleaner makes a surprising debut, but it's clear his priority is getting his hands on the NJPW Heavyweight Championship. For now, we get to enjoy what he'll do against Chris Jericho.
