Roman Reigns was out to get payback for his fallen Shield brother, Dean Ambrose, on this past Monday's (December 25, 2017) episode of RAW - and that's exactly what he got.Ambrose was assaulted backstage on last week's episode of Monday Night RAW by The Bar and Samoa Joe. This was used to write "The Lunatic Fringe" off of WWE TV after suffering a nasty bicep injury that will keep him out-of-action for several months.Reigns sought out revenge against Joe on RAW earlier this week on the WWE's special Christmas Day broadcast. He defended his Intercontinental Championship against "The Destroyer" before being disqualified during the match.Joe was awarded the match victory, however, the title can not change hands via disqualification, therefore Reigns is still the Intercontinental Champion. "The Big Dog" shoved referee John Cone during the incident, which resulted in a storyline fine for Reigns.WWE announced the following after the altercation:"Roman Reigns receives $5,000 fine for shoving official on Raw"Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns has been fined $5,000 for shoving referee John Cone during his title defense against Samoa Joe on Raw last night, WWE.com can confirm."The incident occurred after Reigns backed Joe into the corner of the ring and continued to attack him past the official's count."When Cone attempted to intercede, Reigns shoved him aside to continue his attack. The champion was subsequently disqualified, though he kept his title as a result of champion's advantage."Reigns also took to Twitter to comment on his actions, saying that he is a man of his word - if you hurt one of his brothers, he will hurt you:

It's been a great year for Reigns, winning the Intercontinental Championship and he is also slated to take on Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 34 for the Universal Title, per backstage reports.

The Shield member has been groomed to become the next big face of the WWE, and it could finally happen come April in Louisiana next year.
