One of the top storylines in WWE of 2017 was the unveiling of Jason Jordan as RAW General Manager Kurt Angle's illegitimate son.

Angle was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame earlier this year before WrestleMania 33 and was later named the new General Manager of Monday Night RAW, replacing Mick Foley who was written off WWE TV in order to receive a major surgery.

The former WWE Champion was troubled by some blackmail style texts he was receiving from an unknown source, and the big secret turned out to be that he had an illegitimate son from a college relationship.

It was revealed that former SmackDown Live Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan was his son, and Jordan immediately began a career as a singles competitor on RAW. Since then Jordan has competed in singles matches against the likes of Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, John Cena, and many more, however, he hasn't been able to win.

Recently Jordan has developed some beef with The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) and Samoa Joe. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns also have their issues with the trio, however, Angle decided to pair Rollins and Jordan against The Bar for the RAW Tag Team Titles in the wake of Dean Ambrose's recent injury.

Ambrose is expected to miss several months of action due to a bicep injury. Rollins and Jordan wound up winning the Tag Team Titles on RAW, a move that not many were expecting to happen on RAW's special Christmas Day broadcast.

Per a report from Rajah, the WWE has seemed to hold off on their plans to turn Jordan heel and has elevated him to the position that Dean Ambrose left empty when he went down with the injury.

Jordan will now seemingly fill Ambrose's position for the next several months instead of continuing his "whiny face turns heel" journey that has been ongoing for the past few weeks.

What are your thoughts on WWE holding off on turning Jason Jordan heel and instead putting the RAW Tag Team Titles on him with Seth Rollins? Do you think that this will get Jordan over with the WWE Universe? Or will they continue to reject him as a fan favorite? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
