Brentford striker Charlie MacDonald has agreed a new contract at Griffin Park.

The 29-year-old former Charlton and Southend frontman, who has hit 11 goals this season, will put pen to paper on a two-year deal early this week.

"Everything is there and the paperwork will be in place so we can put it to bed," he said.

"No-one is happier than me to get it sorted. I have always flitted about but here I have had two good seasons and I'm happy here."
