Striker Daryl Murphy has set his sights on leaving Sunderland this summer - and has pleaded for the Black Cats to allow him to move for a reasonable fee.

Murphy has scored six times in 11 starts for Ipswich since joining on loan in February and admits he would like to stay at Portman Road.

He said: "I don't know what price is going to be put on my head at Sunderland. I hope the price is not too restrictive because I just want to play football."

He added: "I've got my chance here and I'm enjoying my time working with Roy Keane again, as I did at Sunderland. Long may that continue.

"At the end of the season I go back to Sunderland and we'll see what happens from there."
