Christmas, and the holiday season in general, is a time which people go home and visit their families, but many WWE superstars were unable to do that on Christmas Day this year as they were required to work by the company.

WWE hosted Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live, as well as house shows, across Christmas Day and Boxing Day this week, forcing their superstars to have matches in the ring, rather than spending time at home with their families and friends.

From an outsider perspective, this might look quite harsh since WWE isn't letting their superstars spend time with their loved ones during this special time of the year, but WWE actually did something pretty awesome for their superstars as a special thank you for working during the holiday season.

According to PWInsider, WWE ended up giving their superstars two amazing gifts for working during the holiday. The first awesome gesture WWE did was pay for a Christmas party for all their superstars, which took place after Raw on Monday night.

As well as a Christmas party, WWE reportedly also picked up the Chicago hotel bill for both the Raw and Smackdown rosters as a thank you for being away from their families over the holiday.

For those of you that don't know, superstars do have to pay for their hotels and car rentals in the cities they travel to, so this was a nice present to help make their lives easier for one week and enjoy themselves despite not being with their families.

This is such a great gesture by the WWE, especially during the holiday season, and hopefully, the superstars who have been working on Raw and SmackDown this week have been given some time to spend with their families now that Christmas has passed.

With WrestleMania season fast approaching, meaning superstars are bound to be really busy again very soon, WWE superstars deserve to have a little bit of time off to spend with their families.
