The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods) will be involved in the Mixed Match Challenge next month, and seem to have picked out their top candidate to partner up with.

WWE has announced that they will be holding a Mixed Match Challenge, in which one male and female Superstar will form a team and take on teams from both RAW and SmackDown in a tournament style bracket.

Fans will get to vote on the teams they want to see formed, and pairings such as Braun Strowman and Nia Jax have been favored online. The tournament will air live on Facebook and the teams formed will only be exclusive to the tournament show, and will not be used on RAW or SmackDown Live.

Once a team is eliminated, however, the team is over and isn't expected to be used any further. Currently on social media Superstars have been teasing which pairings they'd like to see happen with one another.

Most recently Nia Jax posted a video of herself and Braun Strowman, claiming she has found her partner for the Mixed Match Challenge. She also approached him after a match backstage and WWE posted the video.

Now SmackDown Live's The New Day has gotten in on the fun with a recent post by Big E on Twitter. The video shows The New Day conspiring with a referee to approach "Ms. Money In The Bank" Carmella.

The New Day made pancakes and put the sentence "Will you be our partner?" Carmella found the odd gesture cute but said that it's up to the WWE Universe to decide who will be partnered together when they vote.

The four then looked at the camera as a subtle hint to the viewers before the video ended. You can check it out here below:
