Are you getting sick of hearing about Alexis Sanchez yet?
Well, brace yourselves, because his name isn't going to leave the headlines during January.
With numerous reports suggesting that his Arsenal teammates are fed up with him, it seems only a matter of time before the Chilean superstar leaves for greener pastures.
It's been well documented that Sanchez's contract will expire this summer, but with injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Kevin de Bruyne, could runaway league leaders Manchester City revive their interest in him during the January transfer window?
There's every reason to believe they might and Arsenal would certainly consider it for the right price.
Sanchez has scored three goals in his last two outings for the Gunners, but everybody noticed that hardly any Arsenal players wanted to celebrate with him when he put them 2-1 up against Crystal Palace.
After the game, Gunners legend Thierry Henry told Sky Sports: "There is a division in the team. He is asking them to come. 'Why are they not coming? Don't you want to celebrate?'
"You're not here for Alexis Sanchez, you're here for Arsenal. Arsenal scored. Go and celebrate. Whoever does it (scores), we don't care about that, go and celebrate with your team-mate."
However, when he bagged late against West Brom, all of his teammates made a point of celebrating with Sanchez with Hector Bellerin insisting the squad is "together".
When boss Arsene Wenger was informed of his former superstar's comments about Sanchez and his squad, the Frenchman had a scathing response.
“I don’t know, I don’t listen to what he says and other people says," Wenger told reporters.
"We focus on our own problems, that’s the only thing.
“There are people who are paid to talk, it’s difficult sometimes when you are paid to talk, to talk, to talk and only say things that are true and intelligent.”
Ouch. No love lost there then!
Henry has a point, but Wenger is clearly sick and tired of analysing every little thing about Sanchez, and who can blame him.
