John Cena is no longer one of WWE's full-time competitors, as the 16-time World Champion now has his hand in a ton of different pots in the world of entertainment, but when he does return to the squared circle it's a pretty big deal.Cena makes sporadic appearances on WWE TV in which he competes with younger talent, not quite putting them over, however, jus the sheer luster of having a match against John Cena brings you up a notch on the totem pole. Most recently Cena appeared on last week's special Christmas Day episode of Monday Night RAW, in which he had a great segment with Elias to open the show before the pair engaged in a pretty good match with one another.Although Elias wasn't able to get the win it still did good for him to be in the ring with Cena, and he put on a great match with the longtime veteran. For the past several weeks there has been a ton of speculation on what Cena's WrestleMania plans are as we're a few months out from the event. Some rumors have sparked indicating that Cena could be paired up with The Undertaker for a WrestleMania 'dream match' of sorts. Another suggested Cena could win the Royal Rumble and go on to face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship. If Cena were to win against Styles it would be a record-breaking 17 World Title wins in his career, surpassing he and Ric Flair's current tied record of 16.That rumor wasn't considered much of a possibility, however, as Cena wasn't advertised for the Rumble. That has all changed now, however, as Cena issued out the following Tweet earlier this morning, declaring that he has now entered the Royal Rumble match and will attempt to punch his ticket for WrestleMania:"A sunny morning on the first day of 2018. Possibilities are endless, opportunities are plentiful."Time to #EarnTheDay because on January 28th, I'm entering the #RoyalRumble match and earning a chance at history @WrestleMania! #Raw"

What are your thoughts on Cena making the announcement that he'll be entering the 2018 Royal Rumble match? How big of a chance do you think "The Leader Of The Cenation" has to win the rumble and go on to headline WrestleMania? Do you think he will be taking on AJ Styles for a shot at a record-breaking 17th World Title victory? Or will WWE instead pair him with The Undertaker for the event?
