It was hoped that, after Arsenal and Chelsea played out an incredibly entertaining 2-2 draw on Wednesday, Tottenham and West Ham would also produce an exciting London derby. But for 69 minutes, football fans were treated to an incredibly dull match.“Pretty dire first half at Wembley,” Gary Lineker wrote on Twitter. And he wasn’t wrong. Then, Pedro Obiang stepped up to score a goal of the season contender. The midfielder sent the West Ham supporters inside Wembley Stadium into raptures with a truly stunning strike from distance. It was completely out of the blue, Obiang seemingly deciding to let fly from 30 yards out having realised there were little options available. His effort flew past Hugo Lloris, who stood no chance.“We’ve only had one shot, we’ve only had one shot!,” the West Ham fans went on to sing. And what a shot it was. Check it out below.

Watch: Obiang's goal

Lineker was among those to react in disbelief on Twitter.

Son Heung-min then followed suit

Yet, incredibly, there was another screamer to come.

In the 84th minute, Son Heung-min collected the ball and beat Adrian with a stunning long-range effort.

You'll be hard pushed to find a game which featured such incredible efforts.

Just incredible. Obiang's goal was incredible, but for Son to follow suit shortly after... amazing!

"Son of a gun. Two of the best strikes you’re ever likely to see in one game," Lineker wrote on Twitter.

And he's right.

This is exactly why everyone loves the Premier League.

Tottenham versus West Ham was about to be instantly forgotten, it was that dull.

But now it will be remembered as the game that produced two screamers.

The match ended 1-1 - certainly, West Ham will be the happier of the two clubs.
