WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is gearing up for a special episode of Monday Night Raw.

WWE will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the launch of Monday Night Raw. The sports entertainment company will hold a special edition of the show on January 12th, 2018 and it will be held in Brooklyn, NY at the Barclays Center (close to the Manhattan Center, which hosted the first Raw).

Also, WWE will release the 25th Anniversary of Raw DVD set. The made its debut back January 11, 1993 on the USA Network and since then, it has been considered as the flagship program of WWE.

There have been many names confirmed for the show except for The Rock, Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. There is a lot of speculation that they could make a surprise appearance on the show.

For years now, Steve Austin has been regarded as one of the biggest stars in the history of the sports entertainment company.

He has feuded with the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling including Vince McMahon, The Undertaker The Rock, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and the list goes on and on. He has held nearly every title that the company has to offer.

He was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2003 due to a series of knee injuries and a serious neck injury.

The Rock is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He picked up his popularity in the mainstream while working in the WWE from 1996 to 2004 and was the first third-generation wrestler in the company's history.

He returned to WWE part-time from 2011–13 and continues to make sporadic appearances for the company.

During his time with the company, he is an eight-time WWE Champion, two-time WCW/World Champion, two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and a five-time WWE Tag Team Champion. He is the sixth Triple Crown Champion in WWE and won the 2000 Royal Rumble.

During his professional wrestling career, he is a twelve-time world champion: a six-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion/WWE Champion and a six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
