It wasn't exactly an FA Cup classic at the Amex Stadium on Monday night, but it was certainly worth a watch.Brighton and Crystal Palace met in the second 'M23 Derby' of the season and after their dull 0-0 draw in the Premier League, the Seagulls' deserved 2-1 victory this time around certainly provided a bit more entertainment.Dale Stephens gave Brighton an early lead before Bakary Sako scored an absolute stunner midway through the second period. However, an old friend would come pack to haunt Roy Hodgson and Palace, with former Eagles striker Glenn Murray scoring a late winner in incredibly scrappy fashion. But, the best moment of the game was saved for injury time, when on-loan defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah produced one of the most hilarious moments of the season so far.Deep in the Brighton half, with Palace desperate to launch a long throw into the area, the Dutchman pushed aside Patrick van Aanholt and took control of the situation.Sadly, his attempt at launching the ball in the box was truly laughable; just watch below and have little giggle to yourself.

Jesus, that's not what you need.

Fosu-Mensah has actually impressed Manchester United fans on his loan spell in south London, so much so that they are desperate for him to come back sooner to replace Matteo Darmian.

But, this little snippet will certainly not make his scrapbook and Twitter deservedly had a right laugh at the Dutchman.

At least Hodgson now knows not to hand him the ball for a throw in again.

The big talking point prior to the match was the use of VAR for the first time on English soil and in typical fashion, the technology was not needed.

Had it been used in Nottingham Forest's 4-2 win over holders Arsenal, we would have got at least a couple of glimpses of how it'll be implemented.

Middlesbrough will now be Brighton's opponents in the fourth round.
